A Small Scale Can Still Mean Colossal Battles

I always enjoy going to conventions and seeing how others like to play miniatures in many different periods. Here I would like to remind gamers that all of the Hack books can use individual stands for unit sizes. Just because I do some pretty large scale games does not mean I do not appreciate the approach of others. In fact I compliment them on their efforts! Recognizing this early I provided that the Hack accommodate both styles of play. Here is a quote I would like to use "COMPETITION PERIODS: Where practicable, we favour the subdivision of competitions into historical time periods, to minimise the cultureshock arising from the clash of wildly anachronistic armies. At first sight, the break-down of our army lists into the following four books might appear eminently suitable." My rules can easily adapt themselves to this style of play with one or two stands representing a unit. Consequently I am providing players with the links to these very good system site links (bottom left). I wish to promote not only my own rules but encourage gamers to use other systems which may appear different in style. The Hack rules allow for small unit sized armies. Frankly I have something to sell. I have an enormous number of figures and really have to think about downsizing! I have a confession to make...I am a lead hoarder. I need your help to get the lead and plastic out and to find a new home for many of my battle hardened veterans of so many periods and battles. Can you help? I will be linking pages to this part of the site to show you some of my offerings. Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing small units of Romans, Vikings, Carthaginians, Greeks and many others. I offer reasonably painted figures at extremely reasonable prices. Painted 28mm foot $3.00 each and mounted $6.00. Models are $20.00. I will always offer reduced price rather than have these little beauties collect dust on my shelf! Yes I also build custom buildings if you are interested.
