Historicon 2007 Events

Here is what I plan on doing for Histroicon 2007. I f you wish to put any games on you can contact HMGS. Please note that the PEL shows the Nervii game a Knight Hack. It is not. It is Classical Hack. Characters and helpers are always welcome!

I would like to thank Richard Wavering for putting on the Tours/Poitiers Game. Richard is an excellent game master and a good time is sure to be had.

Thursday 7pm T-532 - Beneath the Walls of Caerlaverock, 1302 Thurs. 7 PM, 3 hrs, 8 players GM: Phil Viverito Sponsor: LMW Works and MagWeb Medieval 25mm, Rules: Knight Hack Medieval Warfare 1000 to 1400 Third Edition The Bruce has marshalled his schiltrons to block the advance of the English King's army before it can lay siege to the might castle of Caerlaverock in the south west of Scotland. Caerlaverock is the only triangular castle in the British Isles. The Bruce wants it to be the only triangular castle in The Kingdom of Scotland. Help decide the issue for Scotland or England! It is longbows against schiltrons. Which will prevail?

Friday 9am F-546 - The Nerve of the Nervii Fri. 9 AM, 3 hrs, 8 players GM: Phil Viverito Sponsor: LMW Works and MagWeb Ancients 25mm, Rules: Classical Hack Second Edition Caesar has mustered his legions to relieve the camp of Cicero which the Nervi have besieged. Caeasr has built his camp and now the Nervii are caught between the camp of Cicero and that of Caesar. A situation that would unnerve the bravest Gaul. Will the nerve of the Nervii will be put to the test. Will they have the nerve to defeat Caesar and then turn and finish off Cicero? Cast the die and determine the fate of the Nervii.

Friday Fri. 6 PM F-232 - Battle for the West: Poitiers/Tours 25 Oct. AD 732 Fri. 6 PM, 4 hrs, 8 players Sponsor: LMW Works and MagWeb GM: Richard Wareing Dark Ages 15mm, Rules: Hack in the Dark On an open field between the towns of Poitiers and Tours the veteran army of Spain's Muslim governor Abd ar Rachman al-Ghafidi faced the grim and battle-hardened men of the regnum Francorum, led by Charles, Mayor of the Palace. At stake was the rich shrine of St. Martin of Tours, the holiest (and perhaps wealthiest) place in all of Francia, and perhaps even the fate of the West itself. Players age 13 and up are welcome. Rules taught.
