Classical Hack Q & A - page 3 of 3 11)Even if there is not unit C above. So unit A is charging at top of a new turn, must unit A make a morale test because is a nontribal disordered wishing to charge even though it is continuing a pursuit? No.
)A non tribal unit who was in pursuit in post melee phase, is charged as new enemy by another non tribal enemy unit who also was in pursuit. Both units are disordered. Must both units make a morale test, the second unit because is nontribal disordered wishing to charge and the first because is nontribal being charged? No they are both in pursuit and common sense goes out the window.
)If I am right, would be possible to say this about non tribals disordered wishing charge: a)Non tribal who are rallying disordered (by melee and pursuit) cannot charge in the beginning of next turn. They only can defend themselves. They must make morale test if they are charged. In this case because they have stopped their pursuit move they and are attempting to get back into good order they will have to test morale because they are disordered (page 18 Morale Test first line Levy and Disordered to charge or responding to a charge) b)Non tribal who are continuing pursuing (they could not stop his pursuit move) in the beginning of the next turn are charging disordered (to a new enemy) without penalty and must no take test morale even if they are charged. They are treated as tribals They waiver the morale test because they are in pursuit. Yes they go to a tribal mentality. c)Non tribals who won melee and are disordered but did not pursue, they will be able to charge disordered in the next turn, but they will must test morale. Yes d)In any others situations (rough terrain, being ambushed, etc.), non tribal disordered must test morale wishing charge or being charged. It this correct? Yes ... because in ambush they become disordered automatically resulting from the ambush without testing. BUT this test is done after the ambush melee not before it. In rough terrain they test because they are disordered.
)I understood that if an unit stop his charge movement by shooting effects and his enemy gave a counter charge response, that enemy unit can no have to make his counter charge movement because if there is no charge also there is no counter charge. 14) The unit which received the casualties and had to not charge for failing morale will move a full move back turning around exposing its rear to the enemy. The enemy continues his charge into the enemy using the roll of a D-6 as if the enemy evaded. (page 14 top) 14a)But what happens if the enemy unit gave a evade response? If there is no a charge by shooting effects also is there no evade movement? The evaders still evade and the unit having to retire from shooting does so.
)What is the meaning of “rough” terrain: woods, swamps, gullies and hills? Well rough means the terrain or ground is not flat. Being not flat it will have an effect on units moving over rough uneven terrain. I am grateful for your all your questions. |
