Tiring of Tyre - page 6 of 6 Ok you have the tools and the general idea of how to get started. Now you will cut out the general form. In this case the front of the mile castle with the gate and tower section. I laid out the Perfic Panel and drawing the outline, I then cut it out. Next I did the same with the sides. Next I glued the sides together and I had the general form. Then I did the same cut outs for the walk way or rampart inside the fort. This is where a matt cutter comes in handy. So the building is then glued together (inside and outside). Now I take the facade or facing of Precision Products Roman Imperial block sheeting which I will cut with a scissors to match the Perfic Panel cut out as seen in the first frame. This facing is much like the decking I used for the vessel. Glue the sheeting facade to the Perfic Panel. With the facade glued on you have the fortification ready to paint. You can see this on other pages on the sight. Just search under conventions. I will now move on to using mixed materials later on. I'll let you know when I have completed this section of the article.
