The Purpose of The Note Book

The purpose of this page is to satisfy requests from our Classical Hack Yahoo Group for a need to play Biblical Games using temporarily Homeric Hack: Warfare in the Age of Heroes. While Holy Hack: Hacking By the Book is still carried by many vendors in limited quantities it is out dated and needs revamping if not a complete rewrite. This I will do with my usual slug like speed. Until I do players will find that they can use Homeric Hack modified as set down here and on the linked pages.

How to Use the Note Book

The note books has two pages linked below. Using the Trojan Ally information in regard to morale, movement and melee players can easily play Biblical Armies. Just follow the Chariot rules excluding the dismounted charge and treat Egyptian and Hittites Chariots as detailed. The foot units also use the tables for Trojan Allies. As to duels apply the even and odd system - one army will be designated odd and the other even by mutual agreement.
