Legions from the west, reinforced by barbarians meet those from the east who are bolstered by volunteers who were impressed by the display of wealth. Minors welcome with a playing adult. Artorius Dux Bellorum, Lord of Battles stands to defend Britain to the last man against Medraut the rebel usurper. With an army only the shadow of its former strength Artorius is facing a terrible alliance lead by Medraut the traitor who is supported by rebel Britons, Picts and Saxons. At Carlisle, in Gododdin (the north) Arthur rides out to fight the rebel Medraut and his evil allies. Artorius, under the banner of the Virgin Mary and the Red Dragon. Rebellion in the North: Camlann 539 AD is the first scenario game using the newly revised Classical Hack III: Hack in the Dark (warfare in the Dark Ages 250 AD to 1000 AD), Second Edition. Cold Wars 2009 is the platform which relaunch this continuation of the Classical Hack Series of period game systems.
