Creating A Game Table - page 3 of 4

Close Ups

[detail1]

Here is what you have created when you have set down the hills under the cloth, placed the cloth over them and having set down your woods and flocked. You might want to add Spanish moss and cedar chips to give even more realistic looking terrain.

[closeup2]

Remember you want those tree bases covered with flocking. It will get moved off during the game but at set up it looks great.Notice I have left some of the tree bases ungrassed in the foreground to show what you don't want. In the back ground they are flocked. You do not have to bury the cloth with flocking grass. Sprinkle just enough to give the gound texture and if you are careful you can actually high light areas by using it sparingly. You are sort of painting with flock and creating highlights.
