Hadrian's Wall and Q.R.S.

I put on Hardian's Wall on at Cold Wars 2006 A.D. This game will be featured as an article in a forthcoming issue of Historical Miniature Gamer. It was a lot of fun to run. In fact I even got to play in the last game as Richard Wavering was kind enough to Game Master in my place! Many thanks Richard you are a true Evocati.

Below are two views of the basic parts of Hadrian's Wall that I set up at Cold Wars 2006. On the left is a view from the Pict countryside and on the right a view of just the Roman camp.

Above on the right is the permenant Roman camp. In the foreground you can see the general outline of a typical Roman camp. There were four gates, corner towers, barrack blocks, the praetorium in the center, a hospital, grain house, workshops and the general's house.
