Knight Hack Test Play Pittsburgh - page 3 of 3

The repeat of the Norman Saxon Fall In! game went very well and everyone was playing solo by turn three. Turn three playing is one of the bench marks I use for judgng as sucessful Scenarios for any game system. If players are not playing without assistance by turn three either your system sucks, the players are dense or you did not explain things well enough. Yes I have suffered from all three of these parameters at different times. But that's how you gain the experience it takes to put on scenarios or demonstration games. Sometimes too the chemistry just isn't there-in other words "This is a tough room!" Heck it happens. Do not be dismayed.

In the Norman Saxon game, the Saxons drove home attack after attack and took the bailey beneath the shell keep as they beat of relieving forces of Norman knights and men-at-arms. Had we continued the keep might well have fallen.

In any case these guys got it and got it fast. It was a great weekend. Lynne and I appreciate Steve and Frank and their families for hosting this game. We hope to visit Steve and Frank again in the future. They are excellent players and hosts. Many thanks guys.

By the way Frank, Lynne would really like your receipe for chili. I hope Knight Hack goes over as well as your chili!
