Setting Up

Here with more help fromTom I am piecing together the city. I am now working on the seaward side of the city. This last edition will be have a lower series of walls and circuit towers facing the sea. I just did not have time to finish all the defenses as well as the interior buildings.

"But what are the parts of the city?", you might ask. First there is the citadel. This was the Byrsa hill area and basically was where Queen Diddo or Elisa built the first or earliest city. Then there was the naval habor and all of this was protected by a triple set of landward ditches and walls. The general city area was called the megara; this area spread out from beneath the Byrsa area. Mike assisted me in some of the on line research.
