The Views Are Never Ending

The first two photos are of the harbor. They are detail shots of the brick work, colors and doors.

The next views are of the citadel viewed from the Roman lines. This was the original place where Dido built the first city of Carthage. From this place Carthage grew into an empire. To the right is a view of the inside the city. The temple of Apollo is seen to the left in the photo. This sits on a low hill. It was here that the Roman deserters and the Wife of Hasdrubal with her children burned to death at the end of the siege as the Romans were closing in.
