Evocati - page 10 of 14 Ava Steve Boley
I came to know Steve through Frank Sciulli. I cannot remember exactly when but that is of little matter. What does matter is the fine service at conventions, on line and even in his home Steve has proved a great friend and supporter of Classical Hack. At Historicon some years ago Steve casually mention my traveling down to Pittsburgh for a game at his house. Well I quickly took up the offer. It was a great time even if I did show up a tad early. What are two hours to a breakfasting Evocati? The game I came up with satisfied the interests of the 8 or 10 players who came to play Classical Hack. I created three different scenarios on the same board. Celts in the passes. It was a great time which I will not forget. Since that game Lynne and I have returned to Steve's home (in a more timely fashion) and with his assistance we examined the possibilities of Crecy and Knight Hack Third Edition. But you can read about Crecy in The Classical Hack News Letter. The important thing is what Steve does. He actively supports the hobby by hosting important events in his home. It was there that I met the Pittsburgh Band of Gamers. This is important work. What ever Steve undertakes he does it with a passion and that is the essence of being an Evocati. Ava Steve. |
