Ava Paul Forgette

Paul Forgette (pictured second from the left in the blue shirt) is one of my oldest and truest friends. For years Paul traveled with me or met me at the big cons putting on Knight Hack Games. Paul was a test player for Classical and Knight Hack Without his assistance, support and advice on the rules they might never have been done. It was with Paul that I came up with the very idea of doing the Hack series while eating lunch on the way home from Historicon in the late 1980's at The Buffalo Restuarrant in PA. Frustrated with tournament gaming Paul gave me the focus to organize and then do what I set out to do; create the Classical Hack books.

Paul adds something special to all the games he plays in regardless of the game system. In the picture you can easily see what Paul brings to the gaming table. Joy and fun.

Paul is a constant source of balance for me. Lynne gave him a special pin which he occassionally pricks my head with so I can enter rooms. He knows when to inflate and when to deflate.

Paul was a contributor to Classical Hack Scenarios Rome as well as the editor of Knight Hack Second Edition. Without Paul we would not have Classical Hack and Knight Hack. Paul believed the task could be accomplished and believed in me being able to do it. What the Hack else makes an evocati? Ava Paul.
