The scenario was as follows: The Bruce has marshalled his schiltrons to block the advance of the English King's army before it can lay siege to the might castle of Caerlaverock in the south west of Scotland. Caerlaverock is the only triangular castle in the British Isles. The Bruce wants it to be the only triangular castle in The Kingdom of Scotland. Help decide the issue for Scotland or England! It is longbows against schiltrons. Which will prevail?

Caerlaverock is the only trinagular shaped castles in the British Isles. The moat is actually a wet moat but in this case I elected to go with a hill and a dry moat. This view is from the back side of the castle. You get an idea of the general set up.

In both games the Scots came very close to winning but at the eleventh hour the English pulled things out of the fire and managed to flank the Scotish schiltrons. The Scotish forces retired back into the castle. The Q.R.S. have been posted to the site too.
