Phil,

Thanks for all your support. We had 8 walk-up players and it was a great time. One said it was the best game in which he had ever played and other said it was the best game he had played in many years.

As is noted on the Hack website, there is a rematch in the works. It will either be at Cold Wars '08 and/or at Fall In!, if I can get out of the office in November.

I will also be running the Battle of Guadalete AD 711 at Cold Wars '08. That is the battle where Roderick (a/k/a Rodrigo) the last king of the Visagoths was defeated and killed by an invading Bereber & Arab Isamlist army. It will feature wild Berber tribeman, professional Arab soldiers and archers, proud Visagothic noble armored cavalry, Basques, and others. There will be some special rules which should make for a fun and surprising evening.
