The heavy foot of the division as depicted here has reached where it wanted to go. It chose to make a left face and is now in battle order. Notice that in the photo on the left are the spear men (strong arm boys) with dark red shields. For this division I have elected to divide the heavy foot into to two different functional types. The spear men which are good against most any enemy. The right side of the image depicts not spear men but rather axe men. Both are good fighting types. By using two different orders the division is flexible in meeting different situations.

Left is the division in line of battle. On the flanks are the mobile chariot units. On the left flank is the division commander temporarily attached to a single chariot unit stand. In the center is the battle infantry. On their extreme left are the remaining dvisional chariot unit. Notice that there are two large archer units. One on each side of the heavy foot. They are partially screening the heavier foot. This is an excellent way to screen your heavy infantry.
