Hurricon Orlando 2007

I received and had posted this item from the Hurricon Group in HMGS South about Hurricon 2007 last September. The convnetion is held twice a year in Orlando, Floida. The following is a brief description of the convnetion and of what I saw and did there. This is one of the best conventions I have attended in regard to the facility as well as the people who attended. I highly recommend attending this event if you have the chance. We hope to return in May 2008. The convention organizers were really helpful and made every attempt to make sure things went smoothly. A job well done.

Phil Viverito will bring Caerlaverock Castle and environs to HURRICON 07 HURRICON 07 will be at a the venue with ample space for over 100 games, with the best of all historical and some not so historical eras from open gaming Thursday night 27 September to the last scheduled gaming on Sunday afternoon. Warhammer Ancient Battles, WW2 Flames of War, and De Bellis Antiquitates and Warmachine tournaments, Warhammer Fantasy and 40K Rogue Trader Tournaments, and more. Board Games, and Fantasy Role Playing events and a Painting Competition. And for the less active gamers in the family the attractions of Universal Studios, Wet and Wild Water Park and Sea World are available with a complimentary shuttle.
