Creating Roman Camp Tents - page 3 of 3

Here I have created PDF's for creating the tents for officers. You can print them at any size.

You can download the Officers Tent PDF. This is the bottom section only. Cut it out like the small tent, cutting along the outside lines. Do not cut the top off as this gives support to the tent.

You will then need to print out the top of the tent next. You can download the PDF Officers TentTop. When cut out and folded the tent top is placed over the bottom. This I would suggest you glue to the bottom. In both cases bottonm and top the tabs are real important to use glue so the thing sticks together.

You can also download the JPG shown here by opening it in a new window and then printing or saving.

The bottom part shows an awning. You will have to make a frame work for this. The top half and bottom haf look like this.

[tent]"[tent]"

By folding the tents as marked youwill not even require glue. Cut them out along the out side lines. These are intended to be printed on preprinted paper which you can find at most craft shops like Michaels.

One the tent is printed, cutout and assembled all you have to do is to dry brush a dusty color on the printed side. This gives the appearance of weathering.
