Knight Hack AAR The Scots and English 1302 - page 2 of 4 To view the images open them in a new window and then hit the back buttom. Here's what you are seeing in the top row of images starting from left to right. Image one is the basic set up with the English advancing which prompted a figre fight that destroyed the Scotish crossbows. In this game the rise to the center became very important as the English gained it and started shooting the schiltrons to pieces. Image twois a view from the rear. On the left is the village and to the riight of the castle is the moat. The English would try flanking the Scots here. Image three shows the battle from the English side. The Bruce who was posted at the gate has moved into action. Image four shows the English enveloping the Scotish flanks fighting very hard as the Scots attempt to hold the center.
In the second row starting from left to right is image one a general view of the battle. Image two shows the acttion in the village where the Scots held firm til the end. In image three the center and Scotish left (right in the photo) sends relief to their left wing eventually ushing the English knights back. Image four is he fight in the village. |
